Gosh guys I’m crying.

I went on tumblr ready to delete that post which was frankly tmi for everyone who followed me (oops sorry) and suddenly I have messages waiting for me giving me encouragement.

Everyone I ever told about this always said I was being too dramatic or I didn’t know what I was talking about. After seven years of struggling with not throwing myself off a roof this is the first time anyone has ever been remotely kind about it, or even realised that I meant what I was saying. I didn’t know that a kind word could have so much of an effect. It doesn’t change the situation and I doubt it’s going to stop here, but it helps a whole lot. More than I could have ever imagined.

I made a new friend ouo

Went on my first ever sleepover last night at the brilliant age of 19.

All of us girls, studying at an all-girls boarding school.

Told them honestly that I didn’t know whether I was straight or not, and that I hadn’t figured out my sexual orientation yet nor have I felt any need to.

Didn’t expect them to freak out, even though I was still a tiny bit terrified.

They didn’t.

<3 Sometimes I just have to cry at how lucky I am that I’ve met such wonderful people.
